Always a pleasure to dine here! The owner, Deb, is very welcoming and our favorite waitress is Jenn! She remembers what we like and makes choosing the perfect Neal easy! This is a must go when your in the vicinity!

The food was delicious and the waitress & hostess were friendly. We had noticed this place a year ago but forgot it was there every time we were trying to think of somewhere we could grab breakfast in the morning. I wish we had come here much sooner! So far the biscuits & gravy are my favorite. I had a regular pancake with a side of bacon and an order of potato pancakes with apple sauce & sourcream on top. It was all vary good. And based on the pictures of food in everyone else's reviews, there are a lot more dishes I want to try!

Had a great time with my bestie foe brunch! The food was delightful and the service was on point. My favorite thing was the endless cup of really really good coffee!!! Makes the world of difference for a long catch up! I also loved the alternative meat options bc I don't eat pork. Super good and attentive. And we'll priced! Definitely be back.

We like our breakfast, (or more usually, 'Brunch'), after church or just... anytime! We've been to all the others along the 595 corridor, south to Pembroke Pines and Miramar; back east into Hollywood... trust me, ALL OVER! Then, finally, practically out our back door, we end up at the 'Taste of the City' restaurant. VERY FRIENDLY staff greeted and seated us and menus, water, and coffee, (really GOOD coffee!), practically pushed through the bottom of the table, they came so fast! The establishment was about half full on a Tuesday at about 11:30 in the morning. We ordered some eggs, meats, waffles, and French Toast... the usual breakfast selections from the griddle and after a coffee warmup, they were delivered along with extra napkins and a smile...My wife had a 'special order' at which the server consulted the manager.... the result was that she found a better menu item; cheaper, and with more food... she saved us some money!Waffles were crisp and DONE, and the eggs were perfectly prepared to order. The bacon was lean and CRISP... PERFECT!!The flavors brought me back to a farm/ranch that I used to visit in Ojus, FL, (around I-95 and county-line), (circa 1960's), where I would have breakfast that came mostly from that farm! Taste of the City served a truly country-flavored breakfast to a 'country gentleman' that knows the difference! 'Farm Fresh' was all over this meal... DELICIOUS!!These people have the right cooking skills, the perfect staff, the perfect attitudes, and of course, the perfect results! This, 'Taste of the City' is our new breakfast, (and lunch), 'home-way-from-home' establishment! I predict that this restaurant will last well into this century and will become a growing legacy for the 'best breakfast/lunch place' in the Cooper City/Davie community!

Everything about this place is great. So to start it off the service was fast and we sat down immediately, and we're brought water and coffee within less than a minute. The server was extremely friendly and the staff all around was great. The restaurant is small yet can fit quite a few families. The breakfast we ordered came out so fast it was almost unbelievable. Not only was it fast, it was perfect, No exaggerating. We got home fries a bit crispy and they were the best I've ever had at any restaurant period, the kaiser roll sandwich was delicious as well. The bacon was cooked crispy and had perfect flavor and the over medium egg was exactly what you'd expect an over medium egg to beade by Gordon Ramsey. The coffee also was simply perfect too, didn't taste old, and was nice and hot. The pancake may be the best we also have ever had too, try the Blueberry pancake, its so soft and Flavorful in every bite. Well worth a visit if you're nearby or local, or looking for a new breakfast/brunch spot.

I have been going to Taste of the City for 4 years now. I share the experience with all my friends. No matter if you order breakfast or lunch. You’ll In joy the many choices on the menu. I try to eat there 2-3 times a week. Only once have I had to have my oatmeal heated to my liking. Go and enjoy. FYI Limited hours.

Best breakfast I've had in a restaurant, just like home cooking Grandma would make but better in a way. The sausage links taste amazing I recommend those for sure and the country fried chicken is super crispy so it's a must have!!!

Today was my first time going to Taste of the City, and I will definitely be back. Amazing food, incredible atmosphere and the best service I’ve had in a long time. Jennifer is great! I sat at the bar and it had a true diner feel to it. I definitely recommend the Gyro & Feta omelette, it was fantastic. If you’re looking for a new breakfast spot, look no further.
